The Tunapuna/Piarco Regional Corporation provides many essential services that are designed to enhance the quality of life and ensure the well-being of those within the region. These services are divided into two (2) categories: Non-Chargeable Products & Services and Chargeable Services.

Non-Chargeable Services

  • Scavenging
  • Construction and maintenance of roadways, watercourses and all associated appurtenances
  • Provision and maintenance of cemeteries and crematoriums
  • Provision and maintenance of markets
  • Provision of truck-borne water where there is no pipe-borne water supply.
  • Assistance in the cleaning of beaches
  • Development and maintenance of recreation grounds, parks and public spaces
  • Vector Control
  • Garbage collection and disposal
